CICADA is honored to be working with HELP USA to transform a historic Strawberry Mansion school building into 50 thoughtfully designed senior apartments—preserving neighborhood history while creating new
opportunities for community living.
Nayda Cintron Apartments and Townhomes
Rising on the site of a former carpet factory, the Nayda Cintron project will bring 40 new homes and a vibrant community center to Philadelphia’s Fairhill neighborhood. The developer, WCRP, collaborated with community members to name the project in honor of a beloved neighborhood champion.
St Hugh / Fairhill Lofts
With documentation nearing completion, we’re proud to once again partner with HACE CDC on a project that exemplifies our mission. The adaptive reuse of a former Catholic school and historic church will create much-needed affordable housing while preserving important pieces of the community’s history.
