CICADA is a multicultural, diverse, collaborative firm of like-minded people who love urbanism, are committed to reducing waste and our carbon footprint, and work to improve the lives of urban dwellers through design. We deliver professional architecture, planning, and interior design services, from initial program development through construction administration and occupancy. Each of our projects is led by a principal of the firm, backed by a dedicated and talented group of in-house staff architects and designers, and partnered with like-minded engineering and specialist sub-consultants.
At CICADA, we seek to integrate an awareness of context into the design of every project. Through our work we seek to enhance our cultural heritage as represented by our built environment; design projects that are responsive to the immediate needs of our clients; design durable buildings that are flexible enough to respond to inevitably changing needs and users over time; use environmentally responsible materials, systems, and concepts; and develop built environments which are economically responsible in both the short and long term.
