Geoff joined CICADA in the spring of 2016. He has specialized in affordable housing, working closely with the City of Philadelphia and the Philadelphia Housing Authority on a scattered sites project in North Philadelphia. His previous architecture work includes historic preservation, higher education, and multi-family highrise projects. While he has experience with all phases of project development, he has a particular interest in regulatory issues and construction administration.
Geoff studied structural engineering at Swarthmore College, graduating in 2003, and started his career in that field before deciding to pursue his Master of Architecture degree at UPenn, completed in 2011. As a result he brings a unique perspective to the architect/engineer relationship on all of his projects, and enjoys fostering an atmosphere of collaboration between disciplines.
Outside of work, Geoff is a baritone in the Haverford-Bryn Mawr Chorale. He also volunteers at the Curio Theater in West Philly. He enjoys hiking, exploring the city with his family, and supporting local businesses, theaters, and farmer’s markets in his neighborhood.
