Project HOME’s Hub of Hope Doors Open January 2018

On Tuesday, January 30th, 2018, Project HOME, the City of Philadelphia, and SEPTA celebrated the opening of the newest homeless engagement center, Hub of Hope, in the sub-concourse of the Municipal Services Building in Center City Philadelphia. Attending guests included Mayor Jim Kenney, musician and philanthropist Jon Bon Jovi, and City Councilman Darrell Clarke.

The 11,000 square foot facility is meant to support citizens to transition out of homelessness and into permanent housing by providing access various services from primary care and behavioral health, peer- and staff- support, to case management and placement. CICADA Architecture/Planning, Inc.’s role on this project was to provide assistance with fit-out documentation and furniture, fixture and equipment coordination for the facility from construction through project completion.
